Every Clutch & Caboodle RESIST Crossbody is one of a kind — built from parts of multiple pairs of rescued fashion jeans, cut and reassembled by designer Sandra Hachey into something entirely new. Each bag is stenciled with the word RESIST — because fashion can have something to say. No two are alike. The denim that went into each bag had a previous life; now it has a better one.

All bags include a new zipper closure and an adjustable, removable strap (24"–48") that works as either a shoulder bag or worn crossbody. We're calling this one Chaps — named for the Ralph Lauren Chaps "C" button on the exterior. A second button reads Wrangler. It's the only bag in the collection with a Clutch & Caboodle leather tag on the outside. It measures approximately 10.5" wide by 7.5" deep.

The interior is lined in a bold cobalt blue batik scattered with lime green and white abstract floral and circle motifs — electric and cheerful. A large interior pocket keeps things organized.

The creator behind Clutch & Caboodle, Sandy, tells us her main mission is to breathe new life into discarded textiles. She is an eco-conscious textile artisan from Massachusetts committed to the pursuit of "creative reuse," what some might call upcycling.
