Every Clutch & Caboodle RESIST Crossbody is one of a kind — built from parts of multiple pairs of rescued fashion jeans, cut and reassembled by designer Sandra Hachey into something entirely new. Each bag is stenciled with the word RESIST — because fashion can have something to say. No two are alike. The denim that went into each bag had a previous life; now it has a better one.

All bags include a new zipper closure and an adjustable, removable strap (24"–48") that works as either a shoulder bag or worn crossbody. We're calling this one the Arcuate — named for the arc-shaped stitching on its functional back pocket. "Arcuate" is the term for that classic curved pocket embroidery, a design element so iconic it's been trademarked, copied, and debated in denim circles for over a century. We couldn't pin down the brand on this one, so we let the stitching speak for itself. A small horizontal pocket sits on the front. At approximately 8.5" wide by 11" deep, it's one of the tallest bags in the collection.

The interior is lined in a deep navy fabric scattered with bright blue birds in flight — a little unexpected, a lot of fun. A small interior pocket keeps the essentials handy.

The creator behind Clutch & Caboodle, Sandy, tells us her main mission is to breathe new life into discarded textiles. She is an eco-conscious textile artisan from Massachusetts committed to the pursuit of "creative reuse," what some might call upcycling.
