Every Clutch & Caboodle RESIST Crossbody is one of a kind — built from parts of multiple pairs of rescued fashion jeans, cut and reassembled by designer Sandra Hachey into something entirely new. Each bag is stenciled with the word RESIST — because fashion can have something to say. No two are alike. The denim that went into each bag had a previous life; now it has a better one.

All bags include a new zipper closure and an adjustable, removable strap (24"–48") that works as either a shoulder bag or worn crossbody. We're calling this one the Lee Riders — named for the copper rivets. The front features two functional pockets: a full front pocket and a watch pocket. The back carries a large rear jeans pocket with a leather Levi Strauss & Co. patch — two iconic American denim brands on one bag. At approximately 8.5" wide by 10" deep, it's one of the taller bags in the collection.

The interior is lined in a denim-blue cotton printed with a dense, graphic pattern of white tribal and geometric symbols — squares, triangles, zigzags, and abstract forms that feel almost like a textile artifact. An interior pocket with a snap keeps essentials within reach.

The creator behind Clutch & Caboodle, Sandy, tells us her main mission is to breathe new life into discarded textiles. She is an eco-conscious textile artisan from Massachusetts committed to the pursuit of "creative reuse," what some might call upcycling.
