This bank has a slot in the back, ready for your coins and bills, and an authentic antique post office box door made of bronze on the front. This particular door has a very simple motif with a starburst coming from a target-like dot in the center and two dials. The inside of the door says CORBIN with no year, but the creator of this bank lists the door as circa 1950s. It has no box number on the glass panel. The combination is, of course, included.

The door is inset into the gorgeous handmade box of California black walnut, black acacia, and Australian Rosewood. With perfectly mitered corners and a rounded back, this is a quality piece of craftsmanship even before the addition of a vintage post office box door. Four felt feet protect your furniture.
