About Vinylux

Vinylux founder Jeff Davis began moding vinyl records over custom-made forms as part of a graduate school thesis project. His designs preserve the look and feel of the old vinyl, including the original record labels, while creating new, useful, elegant objects.

Vinylux gets its supply of recycled vinyl from record shops, dealers, collectors, and, in some cases, from people's attics. Every year they recycled and reuse approximately 250,000 records, or almost 55,000 pounds of material. Vinyl scrap from their shop is sent to record-pressing plants where it is re-ground and turned back into brand new records, closing the loop on their material stream.

Such a great idea

Love this clock as it's so well made. Perfect for the music nerd. And it's made from something that would end up in a landfill so it's now has a new life with us.

Happy customer

Bought my second vinyl record journal from
Repurfect. It made me so happy when it arrived (promptly, and wrapped in protective layers to ensure trouble-free arrival). Love the product, the store, and the website.

Amazingly Cool!!

The look, feel and simple retro flare of this notebook is amazing. Can't wait until more artist record labels are added to the list. MJ, Prince, Nas, One Direction, Take That, etc. Please add as I will buy early and often.
