Turn your pendant into a necklace (+$7.00)

Would you like to add an 18" black waxed cotton cord with a sterling silver clasp to your purchase?

These one-of-a-kind pottery pendants give broken ceramics a second life. Each piece begins as a shard of discarded pottery found on beaches, in old dump sites, and other forgotten places, then carefully shaped and polished to highlight the original patterns, glazes, and textures created decades ago.

No two are exactly alike. Some fragments reveal delicate floral designs, others bold colors or hints of hand-painted detail, turning what was once broken and overlooked into wearable art with a history all its own.

Every pendant is finished with a small piece of sea glass and sterling silver findings, creating a clean, timeless setting that lets the reclaimed pottery remain the star of the show. Part jewelry, part treasure hunt, part tiny archaeological mystery.

The pottery pieces used range from just over an inch tall to two and a half inches. Available as pendant alone or on an 18" black waxed cotton cord with a sterling clasp.

This item is one of a kind. You are purchasing the exact item shown in the image(s).

About Christine Meegan

Christine Meegan is a longtime Cape Cod artisan and the former owner of Christina’s Jewelry in Provincetown, where she created and sold handmade jewelry for 38 years. Now working from her home studio in Truro, she continues to design one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the coast, history, and the beauty of reclaimed materials.

Her vintage pottery necklaces begin with broken ceramic fragments salvaged from beaches, landfills, and other overlooked places. Once discarded, these pieces are carefully selected for their surviving patterns, colors, and shapes, then paired with sea glass and beach stones to create wearable art with a sense of history and place. Delicate silver findings and handcrafted details give each design an elegant finish while preserving the weathered character of the reclaimed materials. Because every pottery shard is shaped by time and chance, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
