This bank has a slot in the back, ready for your coins and bills, and an authentic antique post office box door made of nickel-plated bronze on the front. This particular door with a Grecian key says NATIONAL on the inside. The maker dates it at 1958. There is no number on the large glass panel on the front. The combination is a three-letter code.

Handmade in California by the Wood Mason, the door is inset into the gorgeous oak box. With perfectly mitered corners and a rounded back, this is a quality piece of craftsmanship even before the addition of a vintage post office box door. Four felt feet protect your furniture.
